Many of the surrounding buildings and parking garages are still intact, but otherwise, the area has completely changed over the last several years.  The construction of the Columbus Commons was a huge part of the areas shift towards walkability, modern living accommodations, restaurants, concerts, food truck festivals, and more!  The Columbus Commons also features a very popular concert series in the summer with the Columbus Symphony knows as the Picnic with the Pops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery alignwide It is certainly worth the visit to stroll through the Commons and over to the Scioto mile with some hot chocolate or a coffee from Winans.  In the warmer months the gardens are spectacular and very well maintained.
